Job Title:
AVP;Marketing Manager
 
Position Summary:    Responsible for developing and managing marketing and communication strategies.  Objective is to expand and strengthen Carver’s profile through continuous update of delivery channel content (branch, website, ATM’s) customer and competitor insight.  Meets regularly with internal Marketing committee; consisting of the COO and heads of Lines of Business.  Reports to COO/President with dotted line to internal Marketing committee.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing client-centric marketing strategies, plans and programs that reflect an understanding of external trends and internal business requirements.
• Coordinate the development and management of the corporate wide marketing calendar.
• Liaison to External Marketing Consultant to develop and execute advertising placement, branch signage, collateral materials, and other client communications.
• Maintain channel messaging (ATM, website, Voice Response Unit) and other communication channels.
• Coordinate development of periodic internal and external newsletters and announcements.
• Research and Develop customer insight data (channel and product usage) customer survey and social media.
• Develop competitive scan (products, fees, access points).
• Develop marketing budget.  Track and manage budgeted amounts against actual expenses.

 
Background and Experience:
 

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience coordinating marketing, communications, advertising, direct mail and website content management.
• Analytical and presentation skills required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Desktop Publishing, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
