Branch Operations Analyst


Position Summary       

The Branch Operations Analyst is responsible for managing core bank operations support functions (Example: Treasury Reclamation process, CDAR administration process, wire administration process, IRA administration process, Tenant Lease Security Accounts). The Branch Operations Analyst will provide operational support and guidance to Carver branches to handle and resolve complex branch operations problems.    
 
Specific Duties:

 
  • Support the handling and research of various legal documents served on Carver Bank (Example: Subpoenas, IRS Levies).   
  • Support Regulation E claims, process charge backs and rejected ATM/Debit card transactions.  
  • Support cash reload of Carver’s remote ATMs.
  • Support Carver’s Bank Regulation D Compliance monitoring.
  • Support IRA administration process.
  • Support CDAR administration process.
  • Support wire administration process.
  • Support incoming requests for Asset and Deposit verification requests.
  • Support Tenant Lease Security Accounts.
  • Support incoming Treasury Reclamation notices/requests.
  • Support various account maintenance, account research requests.
  • Support Interest on Lawyer Accounts process.
  • Support Carver’s Bank Escheatment programs/processes.
  • Support dormant account process.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures relative to Bank Operations support functions.
  • Support of other Bank Operations functions as needed.
 
Qualifications:

 
  • Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the banking/financial industry required.
  • Solid understanding of bank regulations, compliance.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Excel and Word experience required. .
  • Effective time management skills,
  • Team oriented
Supervised teams who must process subpoena and research demands accurately and in a timely manner. Proven success in eliminating court fines and meeting required service level agreements.
Managed schedule of team members, reviewed and approved payroll and leave for all team members
