BILINGUAL TELLER NEEDED

Position Summary:  Tellers are often referred to as the “heart of the branch team”. They have a variety of responsibilities which include transaction processing, meeting customer service needs, and providing branch support (as needed).  Many times, they are the ones our customers see first when they walk into a branch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations:
 

• Process customer transactions with accuracy
• Balance cash drawer with minimal differences
• Assist in the reconciliation of branch settlement

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service in response to customer needs and/ or requests
• Introduce customers who are having significant service issues or want to close accounts to Branch Management

Sales:

• Make sales referrals to Personal Banker, Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager
• Cross-sell and process transactions for Community Cash product suite
• Assist with follow-up calls, help with account fulfillment, and schedule meetings

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player

 
 
Background and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience interfacing with the general public
• Prior customer service experience
• Previous experience with currency exchange (desired, but not required)
• Basic computer skills a plus
