Part-Time Teller-Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred


Position Summary:  Responsible for processing customer transactions as well as informing customers about a variety of Bank products and services. Bank Tellers must be able to interact with customers in a professional and knowledgeable manner
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 
  • Process customer transactions face-to-face, such as cashing checks and handling deposits, withdrawals, money orders, and cashiers checks
  • Accurately and efficiently handle cash and balance a cash drawer on a daily basis.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in response to customer needs and requests
  • Refer potential sales opportunities and more complex customer service issues to Bank management 
  • Help build customer loyalty through friendliness and service.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, Bank policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy act, Anti Money Laundering laws, Office of Foreign Asset Control requirements and other regulatory requirements

  • None
 Background and Experience:
 
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to make sound judgments based on given information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience working with the general public required
  • Prior experience in retail or cash handling roles
  • Computer Savvy
  • Must be customer-focused
  • Must detail-oriented and able to work with numbers quickly and accurately
  • Basic Accounting knowledge a plus
