Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.

Position Summary:
Carver Federal Savings Bank is looking for a smart, creative, motivated, and digital-savvy intern who's eager to gain hands on experience supporting and executing Carver's multimedia and social media presence! In addition, to assisting in the execution of Marketing campaigns to include, but are not limited to lead generation and tracking, new business development, revenue retention, product launches, sales support, Web-presence, event support and other marketing-related activities.

A self-starter who has experience with social media platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. Applicants should have superior work ethic, excellent written and oral communication skills, and knowledge of social media tools and platforms.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of a social media strategy.
  • Recommend, draft, and editing copy for social channels to be posted and scheduled regularly
  • Researching social media trends, tactics, and techniques to keep abreast of the latest web communications.
  • Monitoring and maintaining web communications services that involve social media platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Tracking and analyzing social media and website statistics to inform the office's digital media strategy. (e.g. page views, Instagram followers, recent review counts).
  • Assist in the planning and execution of social media promotional plans, creation of social media contests, content moderation, and general outreach of Carver’s Facebook social media page.
  • Review and maintain marketing content on web properties and intranet sites.
  • Work with IT partners on any changes or updates needed on website etc.


Marketing & Events:

  • Support community events and branch activities through the planning, execution, and event follow-up. You may act as a brand ambassador and event concierge.
  • Support the organization of promotional inventory; and help to fulfill branch collateral requests.
  • Provide creative input on the marketing collateral.
  • Assist in the production of marketing collateral and presentations. This could include working with business leaders to ensure content is correct, proofreading materials for accuracy, and collaboration on design elements.
  • Assist in the execution of marketing plans in order to meet business needs, drive business results, and build brand equity.
  • Light copywriting, and proofreading for marketing presentations, Web site, direct marketing, product collateral and sales materials.
  • Support in the development of quarterly communications to top clients and prospects as well as handle gifting program
  • Performing other administrative duties as necessary.
