Salary: $85,000 - $120,000

Position Summary:
The Branch Manager will be responsible for effectively managing the retail branch, meeting branch deposits goals, drive operational efficiencies and be accountable for branch talent management. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement. Delivering outstanding employee and customer experiences critical to success in the role.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business and increase deposits by developing and maintaining customer and community relationships.
- Provide optimum customer service through efficient branch operations and sales focused personnel.
- Develop and maintain community relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, Bank policies and procedures, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti Money Laundering laws, Office of Foreign Asset Control requirements, Equal Employment Opportunity Act, and other regulatory requirements.
- Work with the Assistant Branch Manager to ensure overall branch security, interview and recommend branch personnel, control branch expenses within budgetary constraints, and oversee staff performance reviews.
- Ensure that all employees receive skills and development training.
- Develop, maintain and support a professional business relationship with the heads of various departments, including, but not limited to, Deposit Operations and Lending.
- Report the branch’s performance related to new business development, expense management and compliance, on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis.
- Lead branch business development tactics to win in the market.
- Create and ensure an ongoing sales through customer service culture.
- Ensure branch staff possess and utilize sales, customer service, and cross-sell skills to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Create an environment that encourages branch team members to actively collaborate with one another as well as other departments to bring out the best in team members by providing training, coaching, and mentoring to assist in career progression.
- Oversee branch scheduling to ensure proper resources are allocated to meet goals.
- Assist in the creation, implementation, and achievement of the branch business plan and branch objectives.
- Implement appropriate strategies to meet sales, lending and business development goals while maintaining a compliant branch operation.
- Conduct required in-branch audits on a regular cadence to ensure compliance with policies and procedures as well as other rules and regulations.
- Respond timely to audits with effective action plans to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Duties:
- Supervise branch staff including operations and sales personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a retail leadership role
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience branch banking required
- Proven results in leadership, development, hiring and managing teams
- Proven results in sales, service and operations including meeting or exceeding set objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work and interact well in an optimistic manner with other key leaders in the bank
- Highly ethical

- Build trust, be upfront and communicate thoroughly
- Ability to make sound judgments with limited information
- Solid management and customer service experience
- Retail banking sales experience including experience executing business development activities
- Knowledge of banking regulations
